Schedule of Events at Temple Sholom

 

 

*Friday Night Services Schedule with Rabbi Shosh:

6:30PM with Potluck Dinner to Follow Service -Unless otherwise marked.

**Schedule on Saturday Mornings with Rabbi Shosh:

10:00 AM Minyan Katan

10:30 AM Shacarit w/ Potluck & Education to Follow

Friday Night Lights:

(TBA for Upcoming Year.)

Where scheduled, we need a family to sponsor the evening. That means that family provides a meal or light snacks, depending on what they would like to do. They also get to choose the topic of discussion for the evening.

Saturday Afternoon Learning & Potluck Lunch:

These are education sessions when Rabbi Shosh is not in town. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Sunday, Sept. 29, 5:30 PM potluck dinner, 7 PM service,
Monday, Sept. 30 at 9 AM, Kiddush Lunch to follow
Tashlich on the Eau Claire River Bridge after lunch
Monday, September 30 at 6:30 PM, member-led services
Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 9 AM, member-led services, Kiddush lunch to follow

Yom Kippur:
Kol Nidrei: Tuesday, October 8 at 6 PM
Morning service (including Yizkor): Wednesday, October 9 at 9 AM
Minchah / N’eilah: Wednesday, October 9 at 5 PM
Fast ends at 7:16 PM, Break Fast to follow

During the High Holy Days it is customary to make a donation to charity. At Temple Sholom we will collect for Feed My People. They supply the food banks in Western Wisconsin, and have for many years. They only charge the food banks for distribution, the food is free. The best part is that for every $1 that we donate, they can purchase $10 of food, as they buy wholesale and in bulk. For this reason we have gone to taking monetary donations instead of cans of food. We will have a box near the entrance and will collect through Yom Kippur. Checks are permitted.Thanks!
