Today is April 27, 2017 -
No cost: Registration required
On April 27, come and celebrate the accomplishments of our community at the Eau Claire Healthy Communities Annual Celebration! At this event you will be able to participate in an interactive storytelling session of Honoring Our Voices: How Communities can Leverage the Power of the Story and connect with other members who care about creating a healthy community. You can also celebrate as JONAH’s previous organizer, John Stedman, receives an award posthumously.
You can RSVP here!
Please email the Leadership of the Joint Finance Committee and your own legislators. Be sure to include your address. We want them to know of the support of people all around the state for their work on transportation spending.
Resist any attempts to remove public transit from the Transportation Fund.
Call and support the Joint Finance Committee’s Work on the Transportation Budget!
There are two opportunities for you to view the next two episodes of the documentary: The Raising of America. (As you may remember, JONAH co-sponsored Episode 1 in January and February.) Episode 2: Once Upon a Time–Childcare in our Country and Episode 3: Are We Crazy about our Kids? Early Learning and Putting Money Where It’s Needed will be shown together on Friday, April 28, from noon until 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 2112 Rudolph Road. Lunch will be served. The episodes will be shown again on Thursday, May 4, from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Eau Claire School District Board Office, 500 Main Street.

Each year JONAH (Joining Our Neighbors Advancing Hope) welcomes all to take a seat at our social justice table to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and gain energy for ongoing justice work.
